Do you have an additional candidate that you would like the nominating committee to consider?

The person must be an active Chamber Member in good standing, member of the Chamber for one year and receive 10 active member signatures to support their nomination. Their name should be submitted to Cheryl Thibault - President/CEO at cthibault@sebastianchamber.com no later than

12:00 PM on May 31, 2025, and will then be reviewed by the nominating committee. The final ballot is selected by the nominating committee working on behalf of our Board of Directors.

Ballots will be mailed on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 for a return date no later than Friday, August 1, 2025 by 3:00PM.

Barbara Brensinger – From Tech to Teaching to Treasure Coast Real Estate

Barbara Brensinger’s professional journey is a testament to her adaptability, heart, and deep desire to help others. After a successful career in technology sales, Barbara experienced a shift in priorities following the events of 9/11. Motivated to make a difference, she returned to college to pursue her degrees in education, including a master’s in education, and began a rewarding career as a middle school teacher.

Barbara later brought that same passion for service and knowledge into real estate. After retiring to Sebastian, Florida in 2021, she now serves clients across the Vero Beach and Treasure Coast area, working with Keller Williams Vero Beach and running her own brokerage, Barbara Brensinger LLC, focused on manufactured homes.

Her background in marketing, education, and sales gives her a well-rounded edge in the real estate world—whether she’s explaining market trends or negotiating contracts, she does it with clarity, compassion, and confidence.

When Barbara isn't guiding buyers and sellers, she enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with her loyal golden retrievers.
