Dear WJC Student,

Please see the following updates regarding Commencement:

Conferral Date Addition:

Students with an August or December 2024 degree conferral who did not walk in the June 2024 ceremony/not listed in June 2024 program are eligible to walk in June 2025 ceremony. You must complete the Graduation Participation Form at https://williamjames.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9Bl4BxfY0PXCTHg in order to walk at Commencement.

Graduation Application

Students must have their advisors sign their Graduation Application BEFORE submitting it to the Registrar's Office at registrar@williamjames.edu.

Graduation Tickets

Each student approved to walk at commencement will be allotted three (3) tickets for guests to attend the ceremony. Students must request their tickets on the Graduation Ceremony Participation Form at https://williamjames.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9Bl4BxfY0PXCTHg.

Because of the increased size of the graduating class and space limitations, requests for additional tickets will not be accepted or granted - even if other students return tickets they will not be using. You may personally request extra tickets from your peers if they will not be using them but William James will not be coordinating this service.

Graduating students and children under the age of 12 do not need tickets. You must request your commencement tickets immediately using the Commencement Ceremony Participation Form at https://williamjames.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9Bl4BxfY0PXCTHg which is different from the Graduation Application. Once the form is received, your tickets will be mailed to you at the address you provide.

The commencement ceremony will be livestreamed for individuals who are unable to attend in person. Viewers may watch the Commencement ceremony and view the commencement program on June 8 at 11:00 AM ET by visiting the commencement website.

Graduation Fee

A mandatory $500 fee is charged during the semester preceding the student's graduation. The fee covers the cost of the ceremony, brochure, diploma, regalia (cap, gown, and hood) and access to transcripts for a nominal fee. The fee is charged whether or not the student attends the ceremony.

Commencement Arrival Time

Graduating students should arrive at the Park Plaza by 10:00 AM.

Guest ticket holders should arrive at 10:30 AM.

Assigned Seating

There is no assigned seating for guests except for those guests who have been approved for disabilities seating (students must request disabilities seating on the Graduation Participation Form).

General questions may be directed to graduation@williamjames.edu.
