A Moment to Observe and Celebrate | | |
Equity is one of our core values here at Encompass. June brings two significant observances that are central to that value: Pride Month and Juneteenth.
We proudly recognize Pride Month and reaffirm our commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all.
We hold diversity in high esteem, and we strive to create a space where every employee, child, and family feels valued and respected.

Though the Emancipation Proclamation was issued in 1863, slavery in Texas continued. On June 19, 1865, federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to ensure all enslaved people were freed. Juneteenth commemorates this important occasion that finally brought an end to slavery. It's a day to celebrate, but also to reflect on our nation's history. How it has shaped us. How far we've come. And how far we still have to go.
In observance of Juneteenth, Encompass will be closed on Thursday, June 19.
| Celebrating Creativity at the Preschool Art Show | |
A highlight in the preschool calendar is the annual Encompass Art Show.
Our teachers do an incredible job of inspiring young minds to bring out the best in their creative talents. This year, many pieces were based on favorite books and characters, such as Splat the Cat, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and more. Students did an amazing job of bringing their art pieces to life!
The Art Show is just one example of how Encompass Preschool creates opportunities to provide family enrichment events. Recognizing parents as partners in the education and development of children, our highly trained team assesses each child and works with parents to create individualized goal plans to ensure all children meet their full potential.

| | Make a Lasting Impact With Recurring Giving | | |
At Encompass, we believe every child deserves the chance to thrive. Families in our community turn to us for critical services: developmental screening and support for infants and toddlers; pediatric therapy for children struggling with speech or motor skills; mental health support for a foster child; or access to quality early learning.
The need is growing. Sustained financial support ensures we can be there for every child who needs us. A recurring gift—whether it’s $25 a month or $250 a quarter—helps Encompass provide life-changing programs and resources all year long.
Join us in building a stronger future by setting up your recurring gift today!
