"Ask The Mayor" Series with Dan Kirkpatrick

The City of Fairborn is excited to launch a new initiative designed to foster transparency, communication, and community engagement: Ask the Mayor. As part of this effort, Fairborn residents are invited to submit questions related to city issues, services, and projects. Selected questions will be answered directly by Mayor Kirkpatrick in a video, which will be shared on the City of Fairborn’s Facebook Page.

Fairborn Fire Department

Fairborn Fire Honors Local Pilot’s Final Flight

Last month, the Fairborn Fire Department had the honor of supporting a retiring pilot’s fini flight—a tradition marking their final flight, dating back to WWII. With over 5,000 flight hours in the C-17 Globemaster, the pilot received a proper send-off with a water salute, provided by our team using a specially equipped fire engine. Fairborn is currently the only fire department in the country partnering with the U.S. Air Force to support fini flights.
