Dear Center for Irish Music supporters,
The 17th annual Minnesota Irish Music Weekend is quickly approaching with our first event this Thursday, June 5th at the Urban Growler! We are very excited to welcome seven master artists from Ireland to St. Paul next week, with the eighth being a masterful permanent resident - the incredible guitarist, singer and composer Dáithí Sproule (Derry / West St. Paul).
Go to our Instagram or Facebook pages to get a preview of the artists, and other tips about how to enjoy the MIM weekend. The absolute best way to get to know our visiting artists is to sign up for their workshops, interviews, or lectures and buy tickets to the weekend's public events.
We would like to thank our sponsors, individual donors, students, and volunteers ahead of the weekend, as the Minnesota Irish Music Weekend would not be possible without their support.
Our summer term begins on Monday, June 9th, so don't forget to register!
Finally, two of our summer camps still have space available: Adrienne O'Shea's Irish Music & Arts Summer Camp (half-day mornings July 21-25) and Hannah Flowers' Introduction to Irish Harp Camp (half-day mornings, July 7-11).
I look forward to seeing you soon!
Norah Rendell
