Happy Summer, Onyx!

I am trusting that everyone is maximizing the joys of summer and enjoying the extra warmth and sunshine. We have been busy, busy, busy. We gained great information at the Florida Ski Council (FSC) Spring Meeting. We sold out our two Onyx tables at the Dr. Carter G. Woodson, “Jazzy Juneteenth” celebration. Did you hear? We walked away with 2 trophies, “Most Historic Table Décor” and “Best Dressed Couple”. The Sunshine Skyway and Shell Island Evening Cruise was Amazing. Florida Ski Council (FSC) Spring 2025 Conference

Verneka (Trip Chair), Ray (Treasurer) and Conchita (Member) represented Onyx at the FSC Spring Conference. The FSC Spring Conference was held at the Mission Inn Resort (Howey-In-the-Hills, FL) June 6-8, 2025. The conference was filled with good times, presentations from industry partners, voting for the 2026 International Familiarization (FAM) destination, and the 2027 January and February North American trips.

"Jazzy Juneteenth All White Boots on the Ground" Gala"

Onyx members purchased two tables contributing $2,000 to this SOLD OUT annual Community Initiative which supports the mission of the Woodson Museum. Onyx competed in the Best Dressed Female Competition, and WON two awards. "Most Historic Table" and "Best Dressed Couple". We danced the night away and had a BLAST!!

Sunshine Skyway and Shell Island Sunset Cruise

Aboard the St. Pete Coastal Cruises 45ft Custom Catamaran, Onyx enjoyed a scenic trip along the Intracoastal waterway, enjoyed the sunset on Shell Key Preserve and sailed beneath the Gorgeous Sunshine Skyway bridge for an up close and spectacular view of the $15M light show. Thank you Captain Paul and Dionne (Onyx members) for creating a beautiful evening.
