Filled with fun, culturally responsive activities that promote early learning and literacy, this guide is the perfect summer companion for growing readers.

Get Ready! The National Black Child Development Week Activity Guide is almost here!

This year’s theme is Afrofuturistic, and we’ve curated engaging activities for parents and children to explore together.

At BCDI-Atlanta, mental health matters. From June through August, we’ll be observing Summer Fridays by closing our offices to prioritize staff well-being and promote a healthy work-life balance.

NBCDI’s 2025 National Conference is coming to Atlanta all advocators, educators, parents, policymakers, and visionaries like you are invited to be part of this transformational moment.

This year’s theme is Infinite Possibilities. Tangible Realities invites us to boldly imagine and collectively build a world where Black children thrive.

Together, we’ll engage in powerful conversations, honor culture and community, and activate real solutions across education, health, and justice.
