Spanish for Travelers (Course 13341) is a practical class for those planning a trip to a Spanish-speaking country. The focus is on vocabulary and communications useful for shopping, eating, sightseeing. Class begins on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
Beginner Spanish (Course 13340) is geared for those with little to no previous exposure to the language. New in-person sessions begin Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
Beginner to Advanced Beginner Spanish builds on skills developed in the beginner class. Two different sections are open this summer. Course 13366 begins Tuesday, June 17, 2025, and Course 13339 meets on Tuesdays starting July 1, 2025.
Advanced Beginner Spanish (Course 13408) is the next level up for students who have an understanding of the present tense and reflexive verbs. The class will concentrate on past, future, and compound tenses. The summer session starts Friday, July 11, 2025.
Intermediate Spanish (Course 13407) focuses on subjunctive and compound sentences while continuing to build vocabulary. This eight-session course begins Thursday, July 3, 2025. Students who have already taken that class move up to Intermediate to Advanced Spanish (Course 13406) for more compound sentences and higher level sentence structure. Class meets for eight weeks starting Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
Intermediate Conversational Spanish (Course 13405) is the summer's only conversation-oriented class for those comfortable speaking the language and eager to improve grammar and fluency. Class begins Thursday, July 3, 2025.
