MAKING MEMORIES

Summer invites us to step away from our routines and focus on the people and experiences that bring us joy. Whether it's traveling, exploring new hobbies, reading a book, or simply gathering with friends and family, those moments often become the memories we value most.

• HAPPENING AT AFP •

MUSIC ON THE LAWN- Tuesday evening's Music on the Lawn at the Grandview Heights Public Library was a wonderful evening filled with great music, beautiful weather, and community spirit. AFP was proud to sponsor the event, which featured a lively performance by EMILÍ. It was great to see so many people enjoying one of Grandview's favorite summer traditions.

FOOD BANK- At the end of May, AFP volunteered at Inprem Holistic Community Resource Center to help serve families throughout our community. In just under three hours, the team helped provide food to more than 180 families. The experience was both rewarding and inspiring, highlighting the important role organizations like Inprem play every day.

OFFICE SIDEWALK REPAIR- The sidewalk replacement project originally scheduled around our office has been delayed. Construction has not yet begun, and we have not received an updated timeline. We will provide further updates as they become available.

CLIENT APPRECIATION EVENT- We're planning to hold our Customer Appreciation Event either August 14 or August 21 at 11:00 a.m. While details are still being finalized, we're hoping to host a casual cookout and would love the opportunity to spend some time with our clients. Stay tuned for additional information. We hope to see you there!

• ON A PERSONAL NOTE •

+ Teri's Treks

It’s been an action-packed month, keeping up with yard work and the community garden, spending time with friends and family, and stepping up my running routine. I just returned from Norway, where our choir was invited to sing with other choirs from around the world. We were there to perform the music of Ola Gjeilo. It was an amazing experience.

+ Nathan's Notes

Nathan is currently on vacation and looking forward to a mix of productivity and relaxation. His plans include working on a bathroom remodel and enjoying some extra time with his family.

+ Tracey's Time

My son and daughter-in-law have finally returned from CO where they built an energy efficient PANL home. The next PANL project is in Dublin.

Are you attending the Columbus Air Show this weekend? Please check out the OSU exhibit tent. Our OSU Junior is an Aviation Management Major and is leading the team putting this together.

For the Led Zeppelin fans out there, don’t miss JBLZE! We saw Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience at Mershon Auditorium, and it did not disappoint.

+ Mary's Moments

I'm settling into my new role and continuing to learn the ins and outs of my position. I'm excited about the opportunity to learn new things and continue growing along the way. Outside of work, my husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary, and last week the World Cup kicked off. For the next few weeks, our household will be fully in soccer mode as we try to watch every match we can. If there's a game on, chances are we're watching it!

OIL STABILITY

Despite concerns about potential supply disruptions, oil prices have remained relatively stable. According to J.P. Morgan, a combination of alternative supply sources, lower demand, reduced stockpiling, and inventory reserves has helped offset the impact of lost production. The chart serves as a reminder that global energy markets often have multiple mechanisms in place to help absorb unexpected shocks.
