SPOTLIGHT on a Resource:

Statewide Respite Care Program


Eligible caregivers can get a short-term or periodic break from the demands of daily care for functionally impaired persons, including older adults. This could include allowing the caregiver to take a vacation or arrange substitute care has an emergency or to simply give the caregiver time to take care of him/herself, run errands, etc.

Eligible Seniors Can Get Farmers' Market Discounts

The Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP)is available to low-income residents of Bergen County age 60 or older.

The benefit amount is $40.00 per person.
