Community Bridges is going to be returning to Market Days in Concord this year! Our tabling activities are focused on storytelling and the "Your Story, Our Community" campaign. We invite you to share your stories with Community Bridges and how our services, staff, and support has benefited your life. Find us across from the State House. An Emmy® Win from a Community Member!
The Ride Ahead took home the Emmy® for Outstanding Social Issue Documentary! Co-directors Samuel and Dan Habib hail from Concord, New Hampshire, and accepted their award on May 28, 2026, at the ceremony in New York City. Their co-producer was Erica Lupinacci, who proudly accepted the award, along with Executive Producers Jim LeBrecht and Sara Bolder, and editor James Rutenbeck. Congratulations to Samuel, Dan, and the rest of the creative team for their accomplishment and New Hampshire representation at the Emmy's®!

Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Announcement: Stricter Rules on Medicaid Work Requirements
On June 1st, CMS issued a nationwide framework for states to implement the mandated rules for Medicaid work requirements. These rules will impact the Medicaid Expansion (Granite Advantage) population in NH and will possibly result in loss of coverage.

Medicaid Matters Website Update
The Department of Health and Human Services' website for NH Medicaid Matters has been updated with a new look. It includes information for providers, community partners, and those enrolled in Medicaid about the recent changes and how to prepare for these changes. The website also includes further information on Medicaid, how it has impacted the lives of New Hampshire residents, and the benefits it provides to millions of individuals. Focus Group Opportunities for Families and Caregivers of Children and Youth (birth to 21) with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN)

- Durable Medical Equipment: Challenges and successes in obtaining DME for your loved one.

Focused Interviews for Adolescents Ages 12-17
PIC/NHFV are conducting short interviews of adolescents on behalf of the Maternal & Child Health Section of the NH Department of Health and Human Services. These will focus on learning about your adolescent’s experiences with mental health awareness, access to care, communication, well-being and health care transition. NHFV is conducting focused interviews on behalf of the Maternal & Child Health (MCH) Section of the NH Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). We want to hear about your experiences with finding support for mental health during and after pregnancy, accessing prenatal care and breastfeeding support, caring for your baby or young child, and navigating health care, screenings, and services. The Institute on Disability (IOD) at the University of New Hampshire is now accepting submissions for their 2026-2027 IOD Calendar! This is a national publication which celebrates belonging, inclusion, and creativity.
Anyone can submit up to three original, two-dimensional works. Paintings, drawings, photographs, mixed media pieces, and digital works are accepted.

The New Hampshire Council on Developmental Disabilities has developed an interactive map which highlights recreational areas in the state which may have wheelchair ramps, low elevation gain, harder walkway surfaces, and other accessible elements that let everyone have fun in the sun. The Parent Information Center publishes a seasonal newsletter for families and professionals, taking care of children from birth to age 26. They are in partnership with NH Family Voices. This is their second edition (Spring/Summer 2026), which contains articles and resources on accessible summer activities, summer planning for children, shifts within routines for summer learning opportunities, and more. Team Spotlight: Turning Fundraising into Fun and Connection
A special thank you to Ashley Langevin and Ashley Kennedy from our Individual and Family Support Department for organizing two wonderful events made possible through funds raised during the Calendar Fundraiser.
Self-Directed Services treated individuals and families to a fun-filled afternoon with Kona Ice, while Adult Case Management brought together individuals supported by the team for a raffle featuring 18 themed gift baskets and prizes.
These events provided meaningful opportunities for connection, celebration, and community. The excitement, smiles, and engagement from everyone involved made them a tremendous success. Thank you, Ashley and Ashley, for your creativity, initiative, and the time and effort you invested in making these events happen!
