The PTSA Scholarship program recognizes students who exemplify the PTSA’s core values of advocacy/empowerment, collaboration, diversity, respect, accountability, leadership, active citizenship, and volunteerism. 

All community members are invited to the last PTSA general membership meeting of the school year on June 3rd at 8PM. During the meeting we will present the candidates nominated for the PTSA executive committee and the proposed 2026-27 PTSA budget (LINK). Active PTSA members will vote on the slate and budget after the meeting.

Help us Check-In Students at the Mandatory Pre-Prom Event

We're looking for parent volunteers to help check-in students at the mandatory pre-prom event where students will load buses to be transported to prom at Ardsley Country Club!


You don't have to be a parent of a junior or senior to volunteer! All parents are welcome to sign-up below.

Volunteers Needed: Dows Lane Lettuce Harvest

Jun. 16 | 8:15AM-1:15PM | Dows Outdoor Classroom and Garden

Dows Lane students will return to the garden on June 16th to celebrate our end-of-year harvest! Classes will visit the garden to harvest and taste what they've grown together this spring, with support from Alissa Campbell and the 3rd Grade Garden Club, Beyond the Bell Garden Club, and PTSA volunteers. It will be a chance to reflect on the season, enjoy the fruits (and greens!) of our work, and celebrate how much the garden has grown.

Apply to Be A Grade Parent

The PTSA is looking for volunteers to serve as Grade Parents in K, 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th (1-year role), 9th and 11th grades starting Fall of 2026. Grade Parents represent the families in their child's grade, participate in monthly meetings with the school's principals, and support school VPs with grade-specific events/programs.


No prior PTSA experience is necessary, but you must have a child in the grade you apply to represent in Fall 2026.

PTSA Grants: 2025-26 Overview

A major focus of the PTSA is to support teacher- and administrator-driven projects/ programs and provide necessary resources for our schools. This year, the PTSA has approved $53,788 in grants for the following programs at our schools this year:


Dows Lane: Wolf Sanctuary 3rd Grade Field Trip, 1st Grade Hudson River Trip, Indoor Recess Games


Main Street School: Book Illustrator Visit, Sarah Aronson Author Visit


IMS: Living History Day, Video Production Club, Sweethearts and Heroes Assembly and Workshops, JCK Social and Emotional Learning Workshops, Welcoming Affirming and Inclusive Environment


IHS: Bridges Challenge Course, Pickleball Club, Finance and Investing Club, Exploring European Culture Club, Band and Flag Team at Mets Game, Prideworks Conference, Birdfeeder, Choral Trip to Broadway, and Playwriting Club

PTSA Celebrates Pride Month!

The PTSA is proud to renew its support of the Irvington High School Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) and LGBTQIA+ Club to celebrate Pride Month with the annual Pride Picnic, a student-only celebration on Campus on June 12.


Festivities will include rainbow bagels, pride-themed spirit wear, pride swag and more!
