We are one step closer to bringing more affordable homeownership opportunities to our workforce! Thanks to your advocacy efforts, our pilot Build-to-Rent-to-Own community—planned for 4.2 acres off Golden Gate Parkway—was recommended for approval by the Planning Commission in a 5–1 vote!
Project Gateway will now go before the Board of County Commissioners on June 23, 2026 for final approval and we need your voice now more than ever.
If approved, this project will create 36 thoughtfully-designed townhomes, each with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a 1-car garage—expanding access to stable, attainable housing for local working families.
To stand with us in this transformative work, there are several ways you can get involved:
-
make a contribution to CCCLT in support of the project
- attend a 15-minute zoom advocacy workshop session between June 1-22 to hear how you can support the project
- attend the Board of Commissioners meeting
- submit a letter of support to advocate for the proposed location
- engage your employer or join a committee
