Where is the time going, I cannot believe its June already, I hope everyone gets out and enjoys the summer.
Thank you to everyone that participated in the Chamber’s Annual Golf Outing that was held on May 12th at Seven Bridges Golf Club. It was a beautiful day on the course and fun was had by all. Thank you to our event sponsors and the donations for the raffle. These events are not possible without our sponsors and volunteers.
In June the Chamber has a new event on June 4th called “The Heist in Downtown Lisle: Case of the Missing Manuscript”. Commerce is about more than storefronts and services it is about connection, creativity, and community. Through the leadership and collaboration of the Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce, local businesses continue to find innovative ways to bring residents and visitors together while supporting economic growth and community pride.
One of the most exciting examples this year is the upcoming “Heist in Downtown Lisle: The Case of the Missing Manuscript,” on June 4th. It is an immersive mystery event transforming downtown Lisle into an interactive adventure. Hosted in partnership with Westside Improv and with local businesses, the event invites participants to become detectives for the evening while exploring restaurants, shops, and businesses throughout downtown. The event reflects the growing trend of experiences in the downtown areas where businesses create memorable experiences that encourage people to shop local, dine local, and engage with their community in new ways. Events like this not only increase foot traffic for businesses, but also strengthen relationships among entrepreneurs, residents, and visitors alike.
Downtown businesses including Swallow Stories Bookshop, DPG Real Estate Agency, Intu Med Spa, Past Presence Custom Frames, The Fat Guy Sandwich Shop, Prairie Walk Dental, and Yerbabuena Mexican Cuisine are participating in the mystery experience, showcasing the collaborative spirit that continues to define the Lisle business community. At the center of many of these initiatives are women who are business leaders, entrepreneurs, organizers, and innovators who continue to shape the future of commerce in Lisle and throughout DuPage County. Across the region, women-led networking and leadership initiatives are gaining momentum, highlighting the importance of mentorship, professional development, and collaboration. Events such as women in business expos and leadership panels at venues like Northern Illinois University, Naperville Campus. The Illinois Chamber is hosting a Woman in Business Conference, June 8th and our Chamber will have an expo table at this event. It is a great networking and learning opportunity. MULTI-CHAMBER BUSINESS AFTER HOURS

Thank you to Paisians Pizzeria in Lisle for hosting the Multi-Chamber Business After Hours with the Lisle Area Chamber and Chamber630 on May 28, 2026. It was a fun networking event between the two Chambers and a lot of connections were made. Paisans Pizzeria offers delectable food and tasty drinks in a great atmosphere. They offer dine-in and take-out as well as space for your next event. Hosting an event at your workplace or home, they offer catering so you can bring their tasty food to you.

Food Truck Social
The Food Truck Social series returns to Lisle for a second year this June! In partnership with Bensidoun USA, Inc., this free to enter, family-friendly event takes place every Wednesday evening throughout the month from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs, friends, and family to Downtown Lisle’s Commuter Lot B to enjoy a variety of delicious offerings from local food trucks, all while listening to live music. Face painting and balloon tying will also be available, free of charge. It’s the perfect way to spend a summer evening supporting local vendors and savoring great food in a fun, outdoor atmosphere.

Lisle 4th of July Parade and
Ice Cream Social
Saturday, July 4, 2026
In commemoration of Independence Day, the 4th of July Parade will begin at Lisle Junior High School, 5207 Center Avenue at 10:00am and will proceed through downtown Lisle, ending on Center Avenue.
Decorate your bike and bring it to Lisle Junior High School to line-up before the parade from 9:30-9:45am. All decorated bikes can participate in the parade! If you or your organization would like to participate in the parade, please fill out our parade participation form.
Following the parade, join the Lisle Heritage Society for their annual Ice Cream Social at The Museums of Lisle Station Park, 921 School Street beginning at 10:45am. Discover Lisle's past with a frozen treat courtesy of Culver's of Downers Grove (while supplies last) and enjoy patriotic music performed by the Lisle Community Band.

Operation Support Our Troops-America is hosting their 3rd Annual Golfin' for the Troops charity golf outing on August 10, 2026 at Seven Bridges Golf Club in Woodridge, IL.
