Summer, we're breathing you in and loving it! Our wonderful volunteers are taking the dogs on excursions, walks, and overnights, reveling in the warmer weather. There's a promise that comes with summer, bringing a sense of hope to our seniors. Until they find homes, our sanctuary is more than enough.

Summer Bingo is this weekend! Join us on Sunday, June 7th, for a spectacular afternoon of fun, food, cash winnings, and games galore. All proceeds benefit our sanctuary and help us rescue more seniors from shelters and other helpless situations. Get your tickets today!

Have you signed up to play golf with us at our 14th Annual Troopers & Tails event? Your ticket includes 18 holes of golf at the beautiful Fairway Hills Golf Course in Columbia, MD, food, drinks, and prizes! Thank You!

It's not lost on us how incredibly fortunate we are to have the support of so many people! Here are just a few ways you have come through for us recently.

After some bad weather, we came to the sanctuary to find this horrific sight on our wonderful walking path. The picture does not even show the full impact. Our walking trail is essential for ensuring our seniors get proper exercise, and so we immediately called Ballard Enterprises - Lawn, Landscape, and Tree Care. Not only did they respond immediately, they cleared everything, making it look pristine, and didn't charge us a dime! We are so grateful to them!

Our Seniors 2 Seniors pantry is a lifeline for some senior citizens in Anne Arundel County. They know that twice a month, they can come collect free pet food for their furbabies at our sanctuary. This amazing project is in loving memory of Tommy Raskin, who spent his life ensuring senior citizens never had to lose their pets due to financial constraints. It is our honor to pay it forward in his honor.

To help us with this endeavor, Karen and her lovely dog, Lucy, showed up at the sanctuary loaded with food to stock our pantry. We were speechless! Thank you again, Karen and Lucy! We promise to continue serving our community through this awesome pet food pantry.

We "Packed the Pantry" all thanks to you. We were in desperate need of treats for our seniors at the sanctuary. It took one simple post on social media and an email to our supporters, and you all delivered. We now have baskets filled with goodies!

While adoptions have slowed, some families are still coming together and finding their forever senior pup! Check out all the pups who have been given a second chance at a family. A Weekend With Stella!

We're screaming STELLA for this wonderful pup who has quickly become a favorite! She unfortunately came to us after her beloved owner had to go into a healthcare facility. The love she was previously shown is evident in her love of giving and receiving kisses.

A volunteer recently brought this little pup home for the holiday weekend, and she had a blast. 15 years has nothing on her, according to the volunteer. Stella is full of life, loved exploring every facet of the house, did fabulous on walks, and is an epic cuddle bug on the couch. She sleeps peacefully through the night and would make a great companion for someone looking for a smaller dog.
