On Fathers' Day, Public Masses, and Drive Through Communions at Martin of Tours
Dear Friends,
Greetings and blessings to all the fathers and everyone who walks with others with fatherly care. I ask for our Heavenly Father to give you wisdom, strength, patience and love. Hope you spend Father’s Day feeling honored, appreciated, and loved. May the blessing of God be upon you!
As you already know, we resumed public worship from Monday, June 15. However, attendance is limited and is based on sign up. At this time, only a limited number of parishioners can attend the Mass in person. Fr. Gener and I want each of you to know, we miss all of you who are our family. We are planning for a drive through Communion on Saturday, June 27 after the live-streaming of the vigil Mass. This will help to include as many parishioners who would like to receive the Eucharist. Further details will be given in the next e-bulletin. I also look forward to the day when we could celebrate Mass with all of you. and all of you partaking in the ministries you have been involved.
We are also scheduling baptisms, funerals, and other services with limited number of persons in attendance. Please call the parish office for more details, We also plan to do the same with First Holy Communions and Confirmations. The plan will be communicated to those who have been preparing for these sacraments.
We are asking you to make a reservation to ensure that we abide by the gathering count requirements.
Weekday Masses from Monday to Friday will be at 10.00 AM in the Church and will be open for 10 persons.
As usual these Masses will be also live-streamed though Facebook Live and Zoom.
On June 20, Sunday vigil Mass will be at 5.00 PM in the church
open for 10 persons and will be live-streamed through YouTube, Facebook and Zoom.
On June 21, Sunday, there will be three Masses - 7.00 AM, 8.15 AM and 9.30 AM in the school courtyard.
These Masses will be open for 25 persons. Entrance will be the gate near the Gym.
In order to remain safe, please observe all the parish safety guidelines provided in the
signup link
, which are based on the guidance of both our bishop and Santa Clara County Department of Public Health. Please do know, the dispensation from Sunday obligation of attending Mass in person still continues. .
Praying for you and requesting your prayers,
Fr. Saju Joseph

FATHER'S DAY BLESSING
To all our fathers and our priests
God our Father, we give you thanks and praise for fathers young and old.
We pray for young fathers, newly embracing their vocation; may they find courage and perseverance to balance work, family and faith in joy and sacrifice.
We pray for fathers whose children are lost or suffering; may they know that the God of compassion walks with them in their sorrow.
We pray for men who are not fathers but still mentor and guide us with
fatherly love and advice.
We remember fathers, grandfathers, and great grandfathers who are no longer with us but who live forever in our memory and nourish us with their love.
Amen.
