The proposed Environmental Management Disposal Facility in Oak Ridge will be the topic of next week's Bridge. With the current disposal facility reaching the end of its life, a new waste disposal facility is needed to continue the DOE's environmental management mission on the Oak Ridge Reservation. The U.S. Department of Energy Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management is currently seeking approval to build a new landfill. Join us to learn more about the proposal and where the approval process stands. Roger Petrie, Regulatory Affairs Specialist for OREM will be our guest speaker.
