O Lord, make us have perpetual love and reverence for your holy Name, for you never fail to help and govern those whom you have set upon the sure foundation of your loving-kindness; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen..

New Monday Class

David Johnson will lead a discussion class about the book “A Generous Orthodoxy” by Brian McLaren began on Monday, June 2. McLaren is a former mega-church pastor who sees the value in many Christian traditions. The class will focus on his ideas. The ten-session class will meet in the Parish Library at 11:00 a.m. on Mondays, with each class lasting an hour. We will meet for ten consecutive Mondays, with the exception of July 14. Attendance at each session is not required. Persons who are interested should contact the parish office and also order a copy of the book. The book may be ordered for $11.20 from Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/Generous-Orthodoxy-evangelical-conservative-contemplative/dp/031025803
