You Can Be the Difference, Friend
Tuesday, June 30 is an important day for The Arc of Massachusetts: it is the end of our 2019-20 fiscal year. This year, in the wake of the pandemic and economic and social turmoil, it is particularly significant.

With you and many supporters across the state, The Arc of Massachusetts is continuing to have an outsized impact. We don’t know what the future holds, but it is likely to reveal great challenges. But as long as you stand by The Arc, we will continue fighting for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

If you are able, please consider giving to The Arc today. Your support is more important than ever.
It is close to the end of June and we have no idea of the additional funding available for day and employment programs across the state. Act now to ensure funding for these valuable supports and services.
On June 25, Maura Sullivan led a discussion of The Arc's new urgent advocacy campaign #DontCutUsOut, which seeks to ensure necessary funding for the services, supports, and programs that adults with I/DD and autism need.
COVID-19 Updates
On June 29, Leo will be joined by The Arc US' Senior Director of Public Policy Nicole Jorwic for a discussion of ongoing efforts to protect Medicaid, as well as the latest information available on the federal COVID-19 4th Stimulus Package.
On June 30, Kerry will be joined by David Hoff, Program Director at the Institute for Community Inclusion. David will discuss returning to work and virtual support, with plenty of valuable resources to share during the session.
In his weekly COVID-19 update, Leo discusses the needs of our community, including #DontCutUsOut, Black and Brown Lives Matter, and trauma-informed care.
The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) released a new visitation policy for families of individuals living in DDS funded homes, which went into effect June 10.
