HSC recently received grants from three organizations to support this summer's heat relief efforts: Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust ($37,500), City of Phoenix ($25,000) and BHHS Legacy Foundation ($15,000).
The grants coincide with the HSC and its partners launch in May of the annual ThirstAid Water Donation Drive to collect much-needed bottled water that will be distributed to help keep clients hydrated and healthy during the extreme heat in Phoenix. HSC and partner organizations will hand out at least 100,000 bottles of water every month from May through September.
Multiple organizations are also hosting heat relief drives for the ThirstAid Campaign. HSC is very grateful for community donations and these generous grants to meet this life-saving need. A big shout out to our community for your support!
