College Signing Day 2022
It was an incredibly exciting day at Cristo Rey San José when we celebrated in-person for the annual College Signing Day rally and celebration. Nearly 500 family members, schoolmates, benefactors and Corporate Work Study partners gathered to celebrate the Class of 2022. Almost all these students are the first in their families to attend college, a truly enormous accomplishment!
Some other exciting pride points:
98% of the Class of 2022 are going to college, having received acceptances from over 600 colleges and universities in California and nationwide, including Cal Poly, College of the Holy Cross, UC Berkeley, Stanford, Santa Clara University, San José State University, Columbia, Brown, UC Merced, Cal State Stanislaus and UCLA.
All Cristo Rey graduates have completed the A-G requirements (the required college courses for UC's and CSU's), in comparison with a rate of A-G completion of 37% in the nearby public high schools.
80% are going to a 4-year institution, with the rest going to junior colleges and one joining the Marines.
These young adults have accomplished so much despite the challenges of the past two years. Their persistence and determination have gotten them to this important milestone and will help them in their college journey.

Class of 2022 Celebrations - Join Us Virtually!
Baccalaureate Mass
Seniors and their families will gather in the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph in Downtown San José on Thursday, June 9th at 7:30 pm. We will honor the academic and extracurricular successes of our seniors over their four years at Cristo Rey San José Jesuit!
