We are really happy to offer this program so that our students can maintain their connection to their teachers and each other during this time of quarantine. Participation in the program is voluntary, however we do hope that our students take advantage of these opportunities being offered to them. Next week I will be sending an email that reviews the three scenarios for back to school in August. We want your feedback so it will also contain a parent survey as well. As we spend the next couple of months planning for our return to school we will keep you informed of all of the possibilities and requirements.
You will notice on the student supply lists that students are being asked to label their supplies. They will not be sharing supplies in the classroom. Also, we have ordered enough Chromebooks and tablets so that each student will have their own device next year. We will no longer be sharing devices. All this is in an effort to cut down on the spread of germs in the classroom. I am very grateful to our donor who paid for the new Chromebooks which cost $85,000!
In the meantime, I know you are planning vacations and the like and you need to know important school dates. I will send the whole calendar to you soon but for now here are some essential dates. The possible
