The first one will be at Woven Hope immediately following our Chamber luncheon on Wednesday June 10.

Current Exhibit: Annual PAC Member Show, April 26 - June 11

Last chance to enjoy the Member Show where PAC artists and art collectors receive an annual opportunity to exhibit their original art or art collection in the Lilian Fendig Gallery. We endeavor to create a diverse and dynamic show. We accept works from members of all ages and skill levels in all media. There is still a chance to vote for the People’s Choice Award before the exhibit closes next week. So stop by soon! Artwork pickup after 4PM on June 11 or on Saturday June 13, 10AM – Noon.

Gallery Openings: Tuesdays, Noon to 4:00 PM. Thursdays, 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.



Artcamp Registration Open Now! Classes: June 22-26

Artcamp is almost here! Hurry...Registration Closes June 9th! The Prairie Arts Council is offering its annual ARTCAMP workshops June 22 - 26. No art experience necessary. Classes include clay, tie-dye, dancing, painting, crafts, and much more. Classes are filling up! We added a 2nd session of Watercolor Birds for Tuesday, June 23 at 2pm. Register online, by phone, or in the office.

Mural Week: June 22-27

For the last 10 years we’ve had talented artists descend on Rensselaer and the surrounding towns each summer to create a new selection of fabulous wall murals, filling out towns with color and positive vibes. This year @camer1sf and Talking Walls will return for another wave of beautiful public art!

Paint the Towns: 10 Years of Murals, June 27 5:30 to 9:00PM

This year, join us on June 27 to celebrate our 10 year mural anniversary. Paint the Towns will be a fresh bright little festival at Filson Park with music by the Indianapolis ska/punk sensation, The Operators! Activities will include free mini mural kits to the first 100 visitors, a Flatlanders 37 road rally, mural-themed food and alcoholic drinks from Ember’s Station, and a live demonstration of Murals painted on banners by talented local artists.


Artcamp and Event Volunteers Needed!

We will be needing volunteers for Paint the Towns and Artcamp this month. A draft of the Paint the Towns job listings is now available. Artcamp sign-up will be live soon.
