"The Holy Spirit is moving Maine and we have Stories of Love to share!"

Make plans now to join us October 26-27!

Annual Meeting 2018
Spirit ~ Stories ~ Love!
Have you heard our Good News gossip? Storyteller Valerie Tutson is leading our Friday Retreat "Storytelling as Spiritual Practice!"
as well as two workshops and the closing conference recap address on Saturday.  Valerie has developed an enthralling style of retelling the old Bible stories in a fresh new way. She is coming to assist, enable and encourage us to use our storytelling gifts for our own spiritual growth as well as the growth of the Church!
2018 Boundary Awareness Training
Opportunities Sponsored by the
Maine Conference UCC
"Everyday Boundaries" with Rev. Dr. Susan StonestreetUnlike many boundary training's, this workshop does not focus on the kinds of misconduct that wind up in the newspaper, but on the ordinary and vexing boundary conflicts that clergy manage every day. For example, clergy are often torn between the needs of their families and the demands of their congregations. To complicate matters, clergy are often rewarded at church for being over-responsible, and criticized at home. Stir in a congregation's anxiety about decline, the lack of interest from the millennial generation, and worry about the future, and setting boundaries can become an experience of setting sail in a perfect storm. A focus on "Saying No to Say Yes" will help us live more abundantly in our personal lives and ministries.  10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2018 @ Union Congregational UCC of Ellsworth Falls, 2 Falls Court, Ellsworth $25.
New! A Sure Foundation resources for equipping clergy and congregations
