Ribbon Cutting - Name Correction
In the previous eGram sent earlier today, Housing Partnership Inc. was mentioned in the article below and should have been listed as Partnership Housing Inc.

Partnership Housing Inc. recently finished building a new home for Owsley County resident, Ms. Barrett. Davey King, managing director for Housing Contract Administration, represented KHC at the ribbon cutting ceremony held in Booneville, Kentucky, on June 2, 2017.

Housing development is economic development. KHC
proudly  allocated $300,000 in HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) and Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) funds for the construction of home buyer units in the Milltown Subdivision. These funds in combination with other resources from many partners who attended this event, brought well over half a million dollars to Owsley County for this phase of development. The deployment of these funds helps to increase employment in the county, expand the property tax base, build community pride, and spurs economic growth.

HOME funds help buyers, like Ms. Barrett, realize the dream of owning a home. These are important programs that are invested in Kentucky families and strengthen our communities.
