Gray & Gay: LGBTQ+ Documentary Showing
Saturday, June 13 at 2:30 PM
Library | Parks & Recreation Center
901 Civic Campus Way
2nd Floor, Community Room
We'll show two documentaries featuring older LGBTQ+ adults. In Gen Silent, LGBTQ+ elders in the U.S. deal with isolation and the fear of homophobia or transphobia on the part of caregivers and peers. In Open Windows/Las ventanas abiertas, filmmakers interview four active, vibrant lesbians in their seventies in Spain and France.
Each film is roughly one hour long; there will be a ten-minute intermission after Gen Silent, and Open Windows will start at 3:45 PM.
