closer to his son. They planned to move in together and share a place after Jack graduated from his treatment program. Upon graduating, it turned out that his son was living on a friend's couch and that he didn't have a place for them to live. Jack then discovered that his son was addicted to drugs, and he knew he could not be around any drugs or anyone that was still in their addiction. Jack ended up without a home and was told about the Human Services Campus through his treatment program. He came into to the Brian Garcia Welcome Center requesting assistance to get to Columbus, OH. where he could live with his ex-wife until he was able to move into a halfway house. HSC Staff confirmed with his ex-wife that Jack could stay with her, as long as he stayed sober. The halfway house program in Columbus will allow him to stay there for six months and will also house him at the end of his stay. Jack has a job lined up already, and his long-term goal is to open up his very own Sober Living facility to help people move from street to home. HSC purchased a bus ticket for him to travel to Columbus. Jack arrived safely and is very happy to be building a new life.
