Re-Enrollment Survey: Action Requested

Please fill out this form by Friday, June 17. This form helps us plan for next school year more efficiently. If we have not received your child's re-enrollment by next Friday, June 17, we cannot guarantee a spot for your child in the 2016-2017 school year.

Parent Portal Open from June 9-30

The parent portal will reopen on June 9 and remain open until June 30. At that time, grades will be available for viewing. Please remember that TCGIS no longer prints hard copies of report cards to go home. For a reminder on how to login to the Parent Portal, please click here.

Playground Playdate and Library Time

Mark your calendars for a playdate on the TCGIS playground, and check out some German language books for summer reading!

$1972.80 in Box Tops!

What an amazing year! During the 2015-16 school year we collected $1972.80 worth of Box Tops! Eight classes won a Box Tops popcorn party and dozens of students got to choose prizes from the Box Tops treasure chest!

Thank you to all the students and parents who helped make this year such a success!

Next year's Box Tops goal is $3000.00. Please keep collecting over the summer and remember to ask friends and family to donate their Box Tops too.

C&D Committee Looking For New Members

The Communications & Development Committee will be working on fundraising strategies over the summer and the fall and is looking for interested and talented members. If you have some great ideas on how to help the school bridge the gap between the funding the school receives from the state and the funding the school needs to operate effectively, contact Tina Haarbusch or Burkhard Tiessen.

GAI Summer Language Camps Start June 20

There is still time to register for the GAI's Summer Language Camps. Week-long day camps for incoming 1st and 2nd graders will run from June 20 through August 19, with the last 2 weeks also featuring German Safari camps for incoming TCGIS Kindergarteners. Our camp themes for this summer include Kleine Künstler (Little Artists), Once Upon a Time, Erdreise (World Tour), All the World's a Stage,
