Poly Baseball and Softball Teams Receive Championship Trophies at Camden Yards!

Poly men's baseball and women's softball received their trophies from Mychal Givens before the May 29th Orioles game for winning the Baltimore City Championships!

Scholarships Presented to Poly Seniors

​​​​​​​ Dexter J. Amata '18 is the 2018 recipient of the Grafton D. Rogers Scholarship presented at graduation on Sunday, June 3rd. Dexter is heading off to Johns Hopkins University in the fall. Good luck at Hopkins and all your future efforts!

Tariq Griffin '18 is the 2018 recipient of the William T. Tapking scholarship, a prestigious four year award. Tariq will be attending Widener University in the fall, majoring in civil engineering and playing football for Widener. Pictured at right with both recipients is Mr. Biff Davison, president of the BPIAA. The Poly family is proud of both of these young men, and know they will go far!

Poly Press Launched

The Baltimore Polytechnic Institute is proud to announce the revival of the student-run newspaper, The Poly Press! Bringing back this special part of the school's tradition and legacy has significant meaning. According to student editor, Tejal Schwartz, "This marks an important event in Poly history; it marks the beginning of a wonderful project that hopefully will continue onwards through future Poly generations." A paper is important to a school, with Schwartz noting "It enforces school community, creativity, and spirit!"

31st Annual Poly/City Golf Tournament

​​​​​​​Celebrating the 31st Anniversary of The POLY/CITY Alumni Golf Tournament on Monday, July 16, 2018 at the Country Club of Maryland. ​​​​​​​Proceeds to benefit Poly and City Alumni Associations for use in school projects. We encourage you to register as a foursome. The fee is $160 per golfer or $640 per foursome and includes lunch and dinner, 18 holes of golf, refreshments, prizes and awards. June 30 Deadline for FY 2018 Gifts

As the 2018 fiscal year comes to a close, there is still time to make a tax-deductible gift to the annual fund through the BPI Foundation! Contributions enable Poly to provide technology, scholarships, and instructional resources to students. Your gift can be designated for school programs, technology, or one of the many scholarships offered by the Foundation.

City budget cuts meant that more than $1 million was cut from Poly's budget this year. Now, more than ever, we rely on alumni support to keep continue the successful Poly tradition of academic excellence.
