Wishing You a Great Summer
Dear Volunteers,

For many, summer is a slower time, a period when schedules loosen up and many take well-deserved vacations. Yet for Buddy-to-Buddy, it's often one of the most active seasons for volunteers and program staff! It seems that there are more veteran-related events, trainings at armories, and veterans organization conventions to keep us all busy.
Stephanie Zarb, Buddy-to-Buddy Program Manager
If you would like to attend events on behalf of the program, contact our new Outreach Coordinator, Nathan Cross, at crossna@umich.edu or (734) 998-5827. Whether you're heading to an armory or an event on behalf of Buddy-to-Buddy or traveling with your families, we wish you a wonderful summer. Whatever your plans are, take pictures and send them to us—we welcome photos of you on vacation just as much as photos of you attending drill!

Annual Training at Camp Grayling
In years past, many volunteers who are assigned to armories have been invited by their units to go to drill at Camp Grayling. If you have been invited this year and are considering going, check out this excellent guide that volunteer Ron Springer created: "Tips for Visiting Camp Grayling, Fort Custer & Other Guard Facilities."
