The New York Milk Bank supports and serves LGBTQIA parents who are not able to provide breast milk for their babies. Although most of our recipients are premature infants in neonatal intensive care units, there are other reasons why an infant may need donor milk:
- Adopted, foster, or surrogate babies
- Insufficient milk supply
- Failing to thrive on formula
- Health risk of parent that prevents or interrupts breastfeeding
If you or anyone you know is in need of pasteurized donor breast milk, click here to learn more or to place your order!
