Free Zoo Day For Kids

Our annual Children’s Day is coming up on June 10! Regular daily admission for kids ages 14 and under is free from 10 am to last entry at 6 pm (Zoo closes at 7 pm), thanks to our friends at United Federal Credit Union.

UFCU will be on site handing out fun bags and other giveaways for kids, and U93’s Big Perm will join us live in the morning. It’s a really fun day, and a great opportunity to visit the Zoo, learn about wildlife, and enjoy the outdoors!

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Free daily admission offer does not apply to attractions, concessions, or admission for people ages 15 and over. It doesn’t apply to field trips or group tours or Zoo Luminate.

Zoo Luminate Ends Soon

Don’t miss this year’s spectacular Zoo Luminate! The whole Zoo, including the train route, is lit up with larger-than-life Chinese lanterns during this special event. We think it’s best at dusk and after dark, when the lanterns really shine! There’s plenty to see and do including interactive games, attractions, seeing many of our animals, and trying the delicious options to eat and drink at The Lodge and Farmhouse Café.

Zoo Luminate is open Wednesdays through Sundays, 7-11 pm, through June 28. Tickets for people ages 15+ are $22 per person. Tickets for children ages 3-14 are $18 per person. Zoo Members can receive discounted admission of $18 for adults and $14 for children at the gate. Babies 2 and under are free. A discounted four-pack of two adult tickets and two child tickets is also available for $70.

Zoo Member Mornings

Zoo Member Mornings start this month, and we have a little bit extra for you this year! The Zoo will open every Saturday through August 30 at 9 am just for Zoo Members. Plus, the first Saturday of every month through October 3 is a special Zoo Member morning with food specials, keeper talks, and meet-and-greets with Ambassador Animals.

Zoo Member Mornings are a great way to start the weekend, and we can’t wait to see you all at the Zoo!

Summer Camp For Adults

Zoo Camp isn’t just for kids! We have day camps for adults too! Join us June 14 or July 18, 9 am to 3 pm, for a fun day for adults ages 18 and over. Curious Conservationists day camps include games, crafts, behind-the-scenes experiences, and animal encounters you can’t get any other time.

Join us for this special day and deepen your understanding zoos and how they play a role in conservation of wild animals and wild places.

Enjoy Evening Hours

This year, the Zoo is open until 7 pm daily through August 31, last entry at 6 pm. Evenings at the Zoo are a great time to walk around, see different animal behavior (like our new Sichuan takin kid below), and enjoy a more peaceful time of day.
