Free Day For Kids

Children’s Day will take place June 11, thanks to our generous sponsor, United Federal Credit Union.

From 10 am until last admission at 7:30 pm, admission to the Zoo will be free for children ages 14 and under. Children 14 and under must be supervised by a responsible adult.

During Children’s Day, United Federal Credit Union will be giving away bags to children at the event while supplies last and will contribute $5 to every new Youth Savings Account opened at one of their locations, when a coupon is presented from the event.

Trivia For Painted Dogs

New at the Zoo! We're having a trivia night to benefit painted dog conservation.

Join us in The Lodge on June 25, from 7-9 pm. It's only $15 per person, and we'll have food and drinks available for purchase. Seating can accommodate teams of 2, 4, or 8 people. The trivia questions will include painted dog knowledge, dog, and famous painters or paintings, as well as general trivia. The winning team will receive a painted dog prize pack.

Proceeds from this education and fundraising event will go to support the Association of Zoos and Aquariums SAFE (Saving Species From Extinction), which helps save painted dogs and the wild spaces where they live in Africa.
