Alyson Fisher welcomed everyone to the meeting and thanked North Central Missouri College for sponsoring and hosting. Brothers Market catered the meal. A special thank you to Savage Nutrition for supplying their teas for Chamber Members to try.

The May Concert In The Park was well received with over 200 attending. Thursday, June 16, will be the second concert featuring Michael Shaun Brown. United Fiber is the presenting sponsor for all the Concerts In The Park. The Pasture Cafe will offer food and the Rotary will serve drinks again. The concert will be held at Duncan Park from 6:00 to 8:30 pm.
Fair On The Square is scheduled for June 25th. There is a lot of activities which will start at 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. Wristbands are on sale now and can be purchased at Brothers Market, Nodaway Valley Bank, Wells Bank and The Pasture Cafe. The wristbands which allow all activities are $10 in advance and $15 that day.
There are two new businesses in Savannah, Walk Off Wood Bats and Savannah Laundromat. Savage Nutrition is now a Chamber member.
The July Chamber Meeting will be held July 13th at Inspirations Dance Center. Ingersoll Insurance Agency is the sponsor.

This session is over and they passed the largest budget ever. Higher education, universities, transportation help for schools. There was $100 million in the budget for rural roads, with NW Missouri receiving the largest share. Broadband internet and waste water programs will all benefit.
Dean VanSchoiack - Missouri State Representative
This session there were fewer bills passed, but those that were passed were large ones. Eminent domain, re-election reform, no patient left behind.
Gary Baumann - Andrew County Commissioner
Gary is running for the position of Andrew County Presiding Commissioner.
The County has recently completed an audit and is in good shape. They have opened up applications for the American Recovery Money. They plan to look at infrastructure.
The heating and cooling system in the Courthouse needs replaced. The first estimate came back so high, that they might have to look at an alternative plan.

Dr.Lenny Klaver- President, North Central Missouri College
Thanked Senator Hegeman for all his leadership at the Senate Appropriations Chair. He has been working closely with Dr.Kennedy at Missouri Western State College. Students will have much better access to higher education with NCMC and MWSU working together. NCMC enrollment is 70% female and 30% male. He is hoping to attract more males into some of the programs.
Alicia Endicott- North Central Missouri College
Alicia thanked those who attended the groundbreaking ceremony in March. The Savannah campus is getting footings pour tomorrow. Phase 1 is fully funded. Classes are expected in Savannah in January. They will offer classes such as welding, robotic, industrial maintenance. They have a great partnership with the Savannah School District. Phase 2 will be a new two story structure that will house simulation labs for the radiology, surgery tech and sonography programs. Those classes started this week at Hillyards. The nursing program will take up the largest portion of the building. Fall 2023 is the projected date for this building to open. They enroll a lot of A+ students. The nursing program usually has a wait list of 80-90 applicants. They are starting there Capital Campaign. This is the major gift phase at this time. Press releases will go out later.
Tobi Crippen - North Central Missouri College
Summer Classes kicked off on Monday, June 6th. They are now accepting applications for the Fall term. They are open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm.
Leah Garcia - Freudenthal Home Health
They are having an open house and ribbon cutting for their new location on June 30th, starting at 11:00 am.

Amy is running for Andrew County Prosecutor.
Chad Higdon - Second Harvest Food Bank
The Rotary is working on the disc golf course. The Parks Department has been extremely helpful. Baskets are set to be installed on June 13th and 14th.

The museum is hosting a program on Wedding Dresses Through The Ages on June 11th. They will also be offering a Painting Class again with Linda Kinder. This class will focus on cards and will be held the last week of July. The Museum's Kids Camp is scheduled for August 2-4. This year the theme will focus on rural life in the 1950's. The camp is open to children in grades 2 through 5.

The disc golf course is being redone by the Rotary. McBride, Lock and Associates will also be auditing the City.

Alyson closed the meeting by reminding everyone that wristbands for the Fair are now on sale. There are still sponsor ships available for Chamber Events. The annual Golf Tournament is scheduled for September.
