Downtown Clean-up Event
Believe Greater Dalton is partnering with Keep Dalton Whitfield Beautiful for another downtown clean up event. Last summer we had businesses bring teams to participate together and we encourage Chamber members to do the same this year!

 summer music series!
SPLOST 2020 ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The members of the Whitfield County Board of Commissioners will be forming a citizens committee that will look at the projects for a 2020 SPLOST (Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax). The Commissioners are encouraging citizens to apply to be considered for this committee.

The deadline to submit applications is July 1, 2019 at 5:00 P.M.

Completed forms may be delivered or mailed to:

Questions concerning completion of the application may be directed to

Review of the applications will begin after submission. Mr. Gibson will distribute to the different municipalities those applications where applicants have indicated he/she is applying for a City spot. The Committee will consist of ten (10) County appointees and one alternate, three (3) Dalton City appointees and one alternate and one (1) appointee each from Cohutta, Tunnel Hill and Varnell.
