From the Desk of the Executive Director
Last week from May 24-26, Marley Henneigh and I had the pleasure of attending the 80 th annual Alberta Chambers of Commerce Annual General Meeting and Policy Session in Grande Prairie. The Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce did a fantastic job hosting this event. During our time in the north, we were treated to a tour of multiple facilities operated by Seven Generations Energy , which included an up-close tour of a fully operational drilling well site. We also spent an evening touring the Phillip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum . Both tours were great learning experiences.  Read more

On May 31, 2018, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce released Death by 130,000 Cuts: Improving Canada’s Regulatory Competitiveness, a report that examines the opportunity for federal and provincial governments to modernize Canada’s regulatory systems, turning them into a competitive strength instead of a weakness. Read the report here:

The deadline for written submissions is Wednesday, June 6, 2018. For more information and to make a submission click here .
