By-law Consultation re Council Elections
On May 13, 2021, Council approved proposed by-law changes for public consultation. The changes are based on requirements from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care’s College Performance Measurement Framework (CPMF). The proposed changes affect the process for election to CRPO Council, specifically around competencies and conflicts of interest. For details on the proposed changes, check out the Public Consultation page of the CRPO website. Feedback is invited until July 19, 2021.
Call for QA Enhancement Project Contributors
As you may be aware, CRPO is revamping the Quality Assurance (QA) program. The purpose is to reach more registrants and tailor feedback to their needs. A central feature of the QA program revision is a case-based, professionally validated online assessment. Creation of the assessment will require the participation of RPs to write practice scenarios, questions about those scenarios, and to set standards for registrants who complete the assessment.

CRPO is announcing a call for RPs to participate in the development of the new QA online assessment. Participation will involve preparation and attendance at occasional meetings. More information about time commitment can be found in the survey linked at the end of this notice. RPs who are selected to participate in the project will be remunerated at the rate of Council, as outlined in CRPO's per diem policy.

Any RP with at least 5 years of experience in the profession may apply. To express your interest in this project and apply, please click the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/KWVGKJP
