BACnet Secure Connect Interoperability Acceleration Program - Second Webinar a Success
BACnet International's
BACnet/SC Interoperability Acceleration Program
is well underway with over 100 participants from 25 companies and four educational institutions.
The second webinar was held on June 1 and focused on how to use the reference implementation to create an SC to SC router, and using the reference implementation as a test tool to confirm operation of the SC to SC router.
Program participants have already received their second beta version of the reference implementation - non-members will have to wait at least a year to see an open source version.
And it looks like there will be more than the reference implementation coming out of the program! Rumor has it the software will have features that will be
very valuable in system testing and QA automation
. Error injection, scale testing and other interesting features make this something any BACnet developer would want to have in their lab.
