World Wide Knit (& Crochet!) in Public Day
Saturday, June 11 at 10:30am - 1:30pm
Bring your friends and make new ones at the Library while you knit (&/or crochet) in public! Beginners Welcome.

Crafting can sometimes be a solitary act, today's the day to get out of your house and meet with like-minded folks. Get cozy in the third floor conference room and work on your projects.

At 11:30am we'll share a video and some samples of brioche knitting (bring an extra ball of yarn and a pair of needles 2 sizes smaller than the yarn requires if you'd like to give it a try.) 🧶

If you'd like to work on your projects outside on the lawn, please bring your own seating and enjoy the sunshine. 🌞
Flag Day Extravaganza!

Celebrate Flag Day at the Library in an evening of conversation, trivia, and crafting. Join us to:
  • color, cut, and paste forms to create paper flags;
  • learn about maritime signal flags and the evolution of Old Glory;
  • and test your wits with all manner of Flag Trivia.
Let’s Make: Crocheted Beverage Coozie
Saturday, June 18 at 11:30am
Join us and learn how to make your own 12-oz can beverage coozie using yarn, a crochet hook, and your own dexterity. The craft employs several basic crochet stitches, a great way either to begin your crocheting adventures or to continue along the crochet way.

Meet other community members and curb summertime condensation—create a coozie that’s perfect for holding your favorite cold drink whether you’re on the beach, at a ball game, or in your own backyard.

We will have some yarn and crochet hooks available - if you prefer, you can bring your own supplies.
