PADI Women's Dive Day Theme Announcement!

Every year on a Saturday in July, PADI schedules International PADI Women's Dive Day and challenges dive operators to host events to celebrate the women in diving.

With our staff being primary female, we take great pride in making the shindig a themed event and encourage women of all skill levels to come participate in the fun. Event include a social hour with themed snacks prior to heading out to the dive site, an underwater poker chip hunt for prizes, a post-dive BBQ, more fun back at the shop for prize drawings and games, and for those who want to join, an evening at Jack Pine Brewery to relax afterwards.

This course is a great way for a newer diver to quickly gain practical experience in a variety of different types of diving. While an active diver may gain experience just by diving, the advanced course will get them there much quicker, and with a higher degree of insight because of the conveyance of their instructor's real world experience. To accomplish its goal, the course enables students to participate in various underwater tasks that broaden both their awareness of the aquatic realm and their capabilities as divers. The course is designed to be simple and short, and to stress diving participation and skill development, more than theory.

September 23rd - 25th

**This class is a prerequisite to the PADI Rescue Diver Course.

PADI Rescue Diver & EFR Certifications

The PADI Rescue Diver Course broadens a diver's awareness and improves their skills and confidence. It is designed for anyone who wants to learn how to prevent, and if necessary, manage dive emergencies. Most certified PADI Rescue Divers look back on their rescue training as one of the most challenging - sometimes demanding - and therefore most rewarding courses they've taken. The subject is serious but the training is fun.

*Emergency First Response (EFR) course combines first aid and CPR. This certification (or equivalent) is needed for the PADI Rescue Diver Certification.
