June 2018: What's New
Families Celebrate at Parent-Child Home Program (PCHP) Graduation
Above, left: PCHP Program Manager Lynne Creed poses with a program graduate and his proud parent. Above, right: A PCHP family has fun with counting during the hands-on math party following the ceremony, hosted by Zeno Math.
On June 6th, Parent-Child Home Program (PCHP) celebrated the graduation of their Year Two students and families. PCHP is a two-year program where Home Visitors bring a free toy or book each visit to a family's home and show them how to interact with it in a way that builds their child's early literacy skills. Over the course of two years in the program, each family receives 92 home visits and 46 free toys or books.

The graduation was a celebration of all these families achieved through the PCHP program. Each tiny graduate was invited to come up to the front and receive a certificate, a mini graduation cap, and a goody bag. There were many smiling, proud faces in the crowd. After the brief formal ceremony, PCHP partner Zeno Math hosted a math party for the grads and their families.

Congratulations to all our PCHP graduates and their families!
