Tri-State Manufacturers' Alliance

The Tri-State Manufacturers' Alliance partnered with Vincennes University on May 21 to bring manufacturers, educators, and students together for the Attracting & Retaining Gen Z in Manufacturing Workshop. From leadership and recruiting to training and engagement, attendees walked away with practical strategies and fresh perspectives on how to connect with the next generation of thinkers, makers, and doers.

Global Entrepreneurship Congress - Indiana 2025

E-REP and SBDC staff attended the Global Entrepreneurship Congress - Indiana June 2 through 5, joining leaders and changemakers from around the world to explore how entrepreneurship can drive inclusive, sustainable growth. The event featured powerful conversations on building resilient startup ecosystems, supporting small businesses, and positioning Indiana as a leader in global innovation.

Scott Massey, CEO of Evansville-based agricultural technology company Anu, also attended the GEC to showcase the company's patented Rotary Aeroponics® system, which received first place in the SCORE 60th Anniversary National Pitch Competition.

Posey County SBA Disaster Assistance

Posey County, IN, has been included in the Presidential Major Disaster Declaration related to Disaster #KY-20020 (primary disaster in Kentucky). As a result, small businesses, agricultural cooperatives, and most private nonprofit organizations in Posey County may be eligible to apply for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

These loans provide working capital to help eligible small businesses overcome the temporary loss of revenue caused by the disaster.
