SHARE YOUR FEEDBACK
Member survey now open: How can we better meet your needs?
Every two years, we ask our members to let us know how well we're meeting your needs and what we can do better.

The 2022 Member Survey is now open, and we invite you to take a few minutes to share your feedback.

Your responses will help us develop new resources, expand member recruitment, and improve how we support your work to implement the Wisconsin Cancer Plan 2020-2030.

Completing the survey takes about 10 minutes. The web browsers officially supported by Qualtrics are Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Edge.

Thank you for being an active member of the Wisconsin Cancer Collaborative, and for sharing your feedback to help keep our programs strong. If you have questions about the survey or your membership, please let us know!
DATA SNAPSHOT
More work is needed to promote cancer prevention vaccines across Wisconsin
New data from the Wisconsin Immunization Registry shows stalled progress on HPV and hepatitis B vaccine rates -- emphasizing major opportunities for cancer prevention and outreach efforts.

Between 2019 and 2021, HPV vaccine rates for children in Wisconsin ages 11-12 showed no improvement, and hepatitis B vaccine rates saw large declines in a majority of Wisconsin counties.

The HPV vaccine protects against at least six types of cancer. The HPV vaccine is recommended for children ages 11-12 for optimal benefit. The hepatitis B vaccine protects against liver cancer. It is now recommended for all newborns, children and teens, and adults up to 59 years.

Visit our website to see how the 2019 and 2021 data compare, as well as ways to learn more and take action. And contact us to learn how to promote cancer prevention vaccines in your community!
Increasing cancer prevention vaccine completion is an important part of the Wisconsin Cancer Plan 2020-2030.

Help share the Survivor Support Survey from the American Indian Cancer Foundation

The American Indian Cancer Foundation (AICAF) has developed the Survivor Support Survey to determine the needs of Native cancer survivors and caregivers, and the ways that people can help support them on their journeys. The information collected will be used to create culturally tailored resources that will benefit indigenous cancer survivors, caregivers, and families. Survey results also will assist AICAF with survivorship program planning and will help guide the development of Native-focused cancer plans.

You can help by sharing the survey widely.

New tool improves access to suicide prevention and support

Cancer can take a tremendous toll on the mental and emotional wellbeing of patients, survivors, and caregivers. Beginning July 16, 2022, anyone experiencing a mental health crisis can call or text 988 or use an online chat tool to access the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. The name of the service will be changing to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services has worked for almost two years to ensure Wisconsin is ready to implement the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for residents across our state.
