Banner Health invests in Scottsdale with new medical campus groundbreaking

Banner Health has officially broken ground on its new Banner Health Center plus in Scottsdale, marking the first phase of a comprehensive medical campus near Hayden Road and Loop 101.

This 120,000-square-foot facility will offer a range of services, including an ambulatory surgery center, Banner Family Pharmacy, Banner Imaging, urgent care, and primary and specialty care. Notably, it will house the Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, bringing nationally recognized oncology expertise to the area.

Scottsdale named a top meetings destination in North America

Cvent, a leading tech company specializing in event and meeting management software, published its list of the top 50 meetings destinations in North America for 2025. Scottsdale was ranked No. 13. The rankings are based on the total value of meetings proposals submitted, the number of unique proposals sent, and the actual awarded value for meetings booked.

Experience Scottsdale, the city’s destination marketing organization, works closely with meeting planners before they submit their RFPs through Cvent to ensure they are considering Scottsdale and determining the properties that can best meet their needs. Last fiscal year, Experience Scottsdale helped to book 645 meetings and events into the Scottsdale area. These corporate and association meetings – including from key industry segments such as healthcare, high tech, and financial and insurance – generated nearly 198,000 room nights in our hotels and resorts and brought in nearly $115 million in economic impact to the community. 

Leading produce company Giumarra expands into Scottsdale

Giumarra Companies, a global fresh produce marketer, has opened a new administrative office in Scottsdale, Arizona, marking its second location in the state. Situated within the Raintree Corporate Center, this office will house select administrative and operations functions and serve as a meeting space for customers, growers, and industry partners.
