COMING EXHIBITS

JESSIE WILBER GALLERY
Figures - Juried Group Show
July 10 - August 7, 2020

LOBBY GALLERY
Portraits - Juried Group Show
July 10 - August 28, 2020
The theme Figures & Portraits showcases the wide variety of human face and form. Each artist's unique representation captures an essence and a mood of that particular individual. Each work asks the viewer to look closer, to want ask questions.

We received one of the largest applicant pools in our recent history of Calls for Art. This was a welcome assurance that we all desire to catch a glimpse of the symbiotic relationship between an artist and muse. Artists from all backgrounds and areas of focus cannot deny the majesty and power that comes with visually representing the human soul. We hope you are as amazed and appreciative of these works as we are.

WEAVER ROOM GALLERY
A Glimpse of Nature's Splendor
Plein-Air Painters Group Show
July 3 - August 26, 2020
When an artist ventures outside the studio into this world, the entire symphony of nature finds its way into their creations. We live in a most dramatic and compelling environment, often the very reason we have come to live here. Nature in all her glory is everywhere. To create en plein-air is to share in this real drama capturing a moment in time as we are experiencing it.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

Summer Events Update
After many hard conversations and much consideration about how to gather our community safely under the current circumstances, we have decided to postpone the 2020 Garden & Home Tour and Lunch on the Lawn summer concert series.

We cannot express enough how much we miss having you all in the building and on the lawn. We love our community and it is with concern for everyone's well being that we made this difficult decision.

Please continue to support the local musicians, businesses, and creative pursuits as you are able. Follow our Facebook @theEmersondotcom and Instagram theemerson_mt pages for up to date info on what's happening at the Emerson.

We look forward to gathering again soon!
