Green Man Wednesdays EVERY WEEK!

Join us EVERY WEDNESDAY until the end of August at Green Man Park! Free free music and activities from 6-9pm at 770 East McMillan.

New this year, we're gathering rain or shine! Thanks to Market Wines Walnut Hills for being our official rain out location for the season.

We had so much fun at the season kickoff on 5/13 day in partnership with America 250! Special thanks to all our partners who made the day feel extra special and to the Walnut Historical Society and Harriet Beecher Stowe House for their support. Images by CallMeRideout.

Walnut Hills Gardens

Our next community garden grill out is at Concord Garden on Saturday June 20 from 11:30-1:30. We'd love to see you there! We could also use help setting up and tearing down. You can sign up to volunteer here.

Church of the Advent Volunteer Request

The Good News Garden is looking for extra help harvesting for the Open Door Food Pantry and Cafe on Wednesday mornings at 9am. Consider signing up for Wednesdays!

Natural Flo Garden Workshops

Join Natural Flo for a Garden Care Day at Frederick Douglass Garden on June 13th at 10:30am! Participants will spend time tending to the garden through seasonal care practices such as weeding, pruning, watering, and preparing beds for continued growth. Together, we’ll learn the basics of garden maintenance and how to support healthy plants throughout the season.

You’ll gain confidence by working directly in the garden, understanding what plants need and how to respond to them with care. This is a relaxed gathering designed to be family-friendly, welcoming, and rooted in community. This garden experience is for both adults and children to connect with nature and each other.

Volunteer Spotlight

Theresa is a weekly staple at our St James garden. You may also see her at the Friday food distribution or in the kitchen at LaSoupe!

She is a wonderful teacher to newer gardeners and always willing to get her hands dirty.

We're so thankful for her company during the hot dry days that scare everyone else away.
