Annual Artful Friends Raffle
With a variety of prizes to choose from, this year's raffle has something for everybody! Enter to win gift certificates to local restaurants and businesses, original artwork and photography, handcrafted items of all kinds, and more!
Only $5.00 buys you 25 chances to spread out however you wish. All prizes will be on display in the Main Hall during June, and winners will be drawn June 28. Proceeds support the Friends of the Library, an organization which sponsors library programs and events like Summer Reading, movie nights, museum passes, and so much more.

 Opening Reception: Artful Friends Raffle
Featuring Rita Schiano and Rob Adams
Thursday, June 7 at 6:30 pm
Featured entertainers and perennial favorites Rita Schiano and Rob Adams will kick off the Annual Artful Friends Raffle. We are especially honored to have them perform this year as it will be their farewell concert together!
Rita is a former New York jazz singer, and Rob has been a musical fixture in the area since the 1980's. Watching them perform together is always a treat! The event is free and open to the public.

 Lyme Disease: Fact not Fiction

Please join us for a program on Lyme Disease, presented by Michele Miller.
Michele Miller is the co-founder of the Central Mass Lyme Foundation, Inc., that was formed in 2014, in memory of Michele's Mom, Jeanne Cloutier who passed away from late stage Lyme disease in 2013. Their foundation's mission is to raise awareness to the seriousness of Lyme disease.

Rusty String Band
Thursday, June 21 at 6:30 pm
The members of the band are from Central MA and Northeastern CT.
Art plays a driving bass and is also well known in the area for his tasteful classical guitar.
Ed has played in numerous local bands and is a multi instrumentalist - playing mandolin, banjo and harmonica.
Bob plays guitar and composes the band's original songs.
Supported by a grant from the Southbridge Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Stop by and join our knitting circle in the Reading Room every Tuesday!
All handcrafters (not just knitters!) are welcome to join, whatever your level experience. Stuck on your current project or wanting to learn a new technique? Chances are one of the group will be able to lend a hand!

Summer Reading - Libraries ROCK Book BINGO!
Begins Monday, June 25
Play Book BINGO with us this summer!
Teens and Adults can get in on the Summer Reading fun too. Beginning June 25 pick up a BINGO card at the library or download it from our website. Read books that fill in the categories, and when you get a BINGO turn it in at the desk!
Each BINGO is an entry into a weekly raffle for
a $5 Cumberland Farms Gift Card, and into the grand prize raffle to be drawn in August.

Stargaze with our Telescope!
The library now has a telescope which can be checked out and taken home - just like a book. Use it to spend a night stargazing in your own back yard! Who knows what you will see?
Instructions and tips on what to look for are included. Must be checked out by an adult 18 or older.

Looking for free eBooks? Look no further than the library! You can download FREE ebooks to your computer or device, as well as digital audiobooks.
To browse our main collection,

We also now have some new collections, thanks to a statewide eBook project, Commonwealth Collections.
Axis 360 provides more popular options, similar to Overdrive.
Biblioboard is great for homework and research, and also has a great collection of 'For Dummies' titles available.
