OCT Plant Sale

Join OCT for our fifth annual plant sale, which will have a native pollinator plant theme. Beautify your garden while supporting native wildlife and pollinators. Proceeds will benefit OCT’s land-saving work!

Plants are being generously provided by OCT members, Lake Farm Gardens, and Greenhouse by the Sea.

Pollinator Lecture

Co-hosted by Pollinator Pathway Cape Cod Participating Organizations, join us for this special program with Kelly Gill and Julie Michaelson of the Xerces Society who will arm you with the information to make your local landscape and your community more pollinator friendly.

Pollinators are experiencing drastic and widespread declines. The number of species documented as threatened or endangered continues to grow making pollinators a conservation priority across the globe. Protecting these important animals, and the essential ecological services they provide, requires an all-hands-on-deck approach. The good news is you can be part of the solution by contributing to pollinator conservation right in your own yard, neighborhood, town or city through individual actions and/or group initiatives.

Space is limited; registration is required. Attendees are welcome to BYOB (beer and wine only).

Orleans Conservation Trust is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 1970. Over its 50-year history, the Trust has preserved more than 660 acres in Orleans. Among the most active land trusts on Cape Cod, OCT stewards a range of ecosystems, from freshwater ponds and wetlands to saltmarshes, wooded upland, and coastal grasslands, managing its lands to protect and enhance wildlife habitat, restore native ecosystems, and provide public recreation and education through a network of trails and informational signage. OCT also educates residents and visitors about important natural values and environmental issues in Orleans and around Cape Cod via guided walks, free lectures, its website, newsletter, and other communications.
