Abigail, my new faithful companion during Blue Moon Ceremonies
Dear Earthlight Promotions Soul Friends,💫
The Blue Moon on May 31 was especially powerful. It was the second full moon in one month, something that only happens about every two and a half years. This particular moon was a micromoon, reaching its peak when it was farthest from Earth, and it appeared in the fire sign of Sagittarius. Many see this as a chance for a fresh start. It’s a good time to take bold steps toward being your true self, focus on your soul’s purpose, let go of old beliefs passed down through your family, and clear out both mental and physical clutter. I spent several hours on my balcony, burning different types of sage, frankincense, and myrrh. I wrote my goals on bay leaves and also listed the emotions I wanted to release. I placed everything in a copper pot under the blue moon’s light and watched my prayers float into the sky in an aromatherapy puff of smoke, with my cat, Abigail, beside me.
Earthlight Promotions invites you to join me this Sunday, June 7, at Pathways on the University of Maryland, my alma mater, College Park campus, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., for my favorite Natural Living Expo in the Greater Washington, DC area. Tickets are $10 each, and kids get in free. Come meet me, explore over 80 booths, attend 35 mini workshops, and connect with others interested in holistic and natural medicine. There will also be plenty of beautiful crystals, jewelry, and crafts to discover.
Violeta, a Shamanic Healer of Mongolian lineage, has returned from Brazil to lead a Summer Solstice ceremony in Middletown, approximately one hour from Northern Virginia. This event will welcome the summer, help release limiting beliefs, and support grounding your intentions. Please see below for more details about the ceremony on Saturday, June 20.
Finally, on Sunday, June 28th, 11 am- 2 pm at The Journey Space in Sound, Healer extraordinaire Dante Baker is hosting, with one hour of live, earthy, rhythmic music featuring the warm tones of the wooden drone flute, the melodic resonance of the pan drum, the heartbeat pulse of the frame drum, and subtle textures from a drum machine. Together, these sounds will create a grounding atmosphere that invites movement, breath, and connection to the present moment.

No prior meditation or sound bath experience is needed. Simply come as you are, get comfortable, and allow the music and vibrations to carry you inward.
