Clean Air Express COVID-19 Update

As part of the Clean Air Express' continued response to the Coronavirus, service in June will continue on a limited schedule, although there may be additional schedule changes as conditions change. Fares are required for June. Passes will be available by mail only—see details below. 

We remind all Clean Air Express  customers  to please travel only if absolutely necessary. Remember to practice social distancing and the CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. The Clean Air Express service continues to provide enhanced bus cleaning daily, including disinfecting high touch surfaces.

Valid passes are required to board the Clean Air Express

10-ride booklet $50.00
Unlimited Monthly Pass $150.00

Passes are only available for purchase through the mail or through your benefits administrator. Passes are not available for purchase at sales outlets.

To order your pass for June, p ayment must be received by SBCAG at least eight (8) business days before the start of the following month in order to allow time to receive the pass before the month begins.

If you receive your pass through a benefits administrator like WageWorks, please be sure to either order or cancel your June pass.

Who Manages the Clean Air Express?
The Santa Barbara County Association of Governments (SBCAG) is a regional government agency comprised of Santa Barbara County and the eight incorporated cities within the county. SBCAG distributes local, state, and federal transportation funds, conducts regional planning, and operates the Clean Air Express service, which is funded by Measure A. Acting on recommendations from the North County Committee, the  SBCAG Policy Board  provides policy oversight for the service. | | (805) 692-1902
